    • Disc Dog Competition located on the small soccer field on the southeast side of the park near the Arts and Crafts vendors.

  • Kiddie Run Registration:
    • This event is for children 9 years old and under.  Located by the baseball diamonds near the 5K Event.  Parent or legal guardian must be present and must sign a waiver for the child to participate.

9:00AM

  • Indy Disc Dog UFO World Cup:
    • Located on the small soccer field on the southeast side of the park near the Arts and Crafts Vendors.
  • Food Drive and School Supply Drive:
    • Suggested admission to the Festival is canned foods, NEW backpacks, school supplies, diapers, toiletries, new toys, books and puzzles.  The tent will be located on the parking lot by the Business Tent.
  • Kiddie Run
    • For ages up to 9. FREE.  The first 250 kids will receive a medal and a free T-shirt. Co-Sponsored by Primrose School of West Fishers, Primrose at Fishers Station, Don Hinds Ford, Ahepa Management Company, Fishers Tax Prep, DeFur Voran LLC, Two Men and a Truck, Culvers, First Merchants Bank, MI Homes, Peachin Schwartz & Weingardt PC, Mudslingers Pool, The Mailing Station, and Greino Graphics.
  • Things To Do – Indy Star Business Vendors Tent:
    • Local businesses will be available to help festival patrons with information on what they provide to our community. Open 9:00AM- 3:00PM
  • Juried Fine Arts and Crafts Booths:
    • “Suggested” admission: canned foods, school supplies, NEW backpacks, diapers, new toys, puzzles and books.  Open until 8:00PM
  • Current in Fishers Newspaper Information Tent:
    • Maps, information, lost and found, and lost children.  Located at the main entrance to the park. Open until 10:30PM.

10:00AM

  • Opening Ceremonies:
    • Raising of the flag by Fishers Police and Fire Departments, local Boy Scouts, singer Karen Roudebush and bagpipe player Chris Marshall.  Located at the flagpole in front of the park building. The Star Financial Bank Royal Court will be crowned toward the end of the opening ceremonies.
  • Children’s Tent:
    • The tent is open until 8:00PM.  Many hands-on activities for children up-to age 12. Dozens of activities include face painting, crafts, sand art, children’s raffles, and much more!  Adults MUST accompany children under six years old.  The Children’s Tent is Co-Sponsored by Hamilton County Magazine, RCR Technology Corp.
  • B.A.C.A. Charities Activity Tent:
    • The tent is open until 8:00PM.  Many hands-on activities for children with special needs.
  • Kids Entertainment:
    • Open until 4:00PM.  Located inside the Children’s Tent. Sponsored by Cumberland Road Christian Church.
  • Silent Auction:
    • Lots of great items including four Disney one day park Hopper Passes! Located with the Food Drive tent.  The tent will be located on the parking lot by the Business Tent. Open until 10:00AM-7:00PM.
  • Food Vendors: Open all day.
  • Food Drive and School Supply Drive: Open until 7:00PM.

  • School of Rock Musicians: Located inside the Saxony and XFINITY Entertainment Tent

11:00AM

  • Water Balloon Launch and Dunk Tank:
    • Located by the Children’s Tent. Open until about 6:00PM. FREE.
  • Climbing Wall:
    • Located on the large baseball diamond on the west side of the park. Open until 8:00PM. FREE.
  • Zip Line:
    • Located on the large baseball diamond on the west side of the park. Ticket purchase required, $5.00 per person to ride the zip line.  Must be within the weight requirements.  Open until 8:00PM
  • Beer and Wine Garden opens:
    • Closes at 10:30PM. Located on the soccer field near the outdoor stage.  Sponsored by Boston Beer Company and Sun King Brewery.   Tokens must be purchased to by beer.  You MUST display I.D. each time you enter the Beer Garden!  (AGES 21+ ONLY) Alcoholic beverages are NOT PERMITTED anywhere outside the Beer Garden area!  Bringing your own alcoholic beverage is a violation of the law. COOLERS ARE NOT PERMITTED.

    • The K9 Demonstration will be on the grass on the east side of the Entertainment Tent.

    • Light up necklaces will be sold at dusk for $3.00. Proceeds from these go toward our FREEDOM FESTIVAL FIREWORKS FUND.

  • Nondenominational Church Service:
    • Provided by Cumberland Road Christian Church ends at 9:00AM. The service will be held in the Park Building.

9:00AM

  • Current in Fishers Newspaper Information Tent:
    • Maps, information, lost and found, and lost children. Located at the entrance into the Roy G. Holland Park. Open until 11:00PM

      The tent will be located in the parking lot of Roy G. Holland Park. Grocery carts will be located all around the park to drop off your items.  Items will also be collected during the parade by local scout troops.

  • Things to Do – Indy Star Free Game Tent:
    • Games for all ages provided by local businesses and organizations. The Kids Bingo is Sponsored by:   St. Louis DeMontfort Knights of Columbus. Indy Fuel, Colts in Motion, and The Pacer Fan Van will be out during the free games. Open until 2:30PM.
  • Viral Booth of Indianapolis:
    • The photo booth will be located on the Free Game Tent until 2:30PM. FREE

11:00AM

  • Children’s Tent:
    • The tent will be open until 3:30PM then will re-open at 5:30PM until 8:00 PM. Many hands-on activities for children up-to age 12.  Dozens of activities include face painting, crafts, sand art, children’s raffles, and much more!  Adults MUST accompany children under six years old.

    • 116th Street, Technology Lane, Lantern Road, North Street, Municipal Dr. and Holland Drive will be closed sometime after 3:00PM until 6:00PM.

4:00PM

  • 28th Annual Fishers Freedom Festival Main Parade: NEW PARADE ROUTE!
    • The parade will start at Technology Lane and Lantern Road south on Lantern Rd. to North Street through the Municipal Complex on the east side to 116th St. west to Holland Dr. and will travel north on Holland Dr. to Ellipse Pkwy. and back on Lantern Rd. and back to Technology Ln. where the parade will end and disband.  Don’t forget your canned goods for the Food Drive and new backpacks and school supplies for the “Roy G. Holland Backpacks for Kids” program.  Local scout troops will be collecting your donations along the parade route.  Children must be kept back behind the curb at all times!!

6:30PM

  • Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides: (Weather Permitting) $10 per person to ride. Located on the north east ball diamond.  Provided by:  RE/MAX Ability Plus.  Open until 8:00PM.
  • Teen Area: Opens
    • Live DJ and Dancing! Sponsored by: RadioNOW 100.9
  • Big Daddy Caddy: The band will play until the fireworks begin (at dusk).  : Located on the outdoor stage in the grass on the east side of the Entertainment Tent.  (The band will perform inside the entertainment tent if it rains).  Sponsored by SAXONY and XFINITY.

AT DUSK

  • Fireworks: Sponsored by Freedom Mortgage
    • Donation buckets for the FREEDOM FESTIVAL FIREWORKS FUND will be available all weekend to help support next year’s show. You can also donate backpacks, school supplies, diapers, toiletries, etc. in lieu of money. These items will be allocated to our other causes that we promote year-round.
    • Light up necklaces will be sold at dusk for $3.00. Proceeds from these go toward our FREEDOM FESTIVAL FIREWORKS FUND.

  • Fishers Freedom Festival’s Children’s Parade sponsored by Goldfish Swim School.  City of Fishers Nickel Plate District AMP during the Summer Concert Series.  Line up will be just north the amphitheater near the old Launch Fishers parking lot.
