Each student will receive a $1000
scholarship for their continuing
education.

The Fishers Freedom Festival Scholarship Committee has established a
continuing education scholarship in an effort to encourage community
involvement in some of our younger Hamilton Southeastern School District
residents.
Criteria for
the Community & Life Scholarship:
- Residents of Wayne, Fall Creek and Delaware townships
within Hamilton County and students of any local high school-level
institution or ‘home schooling.’
- Community service.
- Volunteer work with various organizations such as, but not
limited to, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, churches, Red
Cross, local senior citizens assistance or other community
organizations.
- Leadership.
- 2.0 GPA based on a
4.33 scale
- Extracurricular activities.
- Involvement in the Arts, athletics, clubs or youth
organizations, 4-H, or other organizations.
- Acceptable Attendance.
The scholarships
applications are judged on a point based system: Completeness of
Application, Neatness, Attendance, Volunteerism, Leadership, and
Extra-Curricular Activities.
