5th Annual Cornhole Tournament
The Fishers Freedom Festival will be holding its 5th Annual Cornhole Tournament. If you know what cornhole is, you already love the game! If you don’t know what it is, come out and watch or play, then you will see why this game is becoming a major phenomenon. The Fishers Freedom Festival is held at Roy Holland Memorial Park at 1 Park Drive in Fishers.
This year’s tournament will take place on Sunday June 24th at 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Ball Diamond just southwest of the park building. Pre-Registration can be done through Tuesday, June 19th in the festival office (8591 E. 116th St) or at the park Saturday, June 23rd through 6:00 p.m. at the Fishers Current Newspaper Information Tent. The registration fee to enter into the tournament is $ 10 per person or $20 per team. Check in and practice will begin at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. There will be cash prizes and trophies for the top two teams. Prize money will be at a minimum of $100.00 to the 1st place team.
The tournament will consist of 4 single elimination brackets, best 2 out of 3 matches with the top 2 from each bracket going into double elimination finals bracket. All ACA rules will apply to this tournament. All decisions are final. ACA rules can be reviewed by going to www.IndyCustomCornhole.com. This event will be run by a member of the Fishers Freedom Festival Committee. Cornhole boards for the tournament are donated by IndyCustomCornhole.
You can register on-line or you may complete the registration form and either email it to kymgreiner@fishersfreedomfestival.org, fax it to 317-595-3196, or mail it to the festival office at P.O. Box 930, Fishers, IN 46038. You also may pay by credit card using Pay Pal. Registration forms will not be accepted at the Festival office or on-line after June 20, 2012. You may however bring your registration form to the Fishers Freedom Festival on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the North Magazine Information Tent until 6:00 p.m. It is highly recommended that you pre-register.
