T-Shirt Design Contest

22nd Annual Design a Fishers Freedom Festival T-Shirt Contest.
Contest Guidelines:
Elementary (K-4) and Middle / Junior High ( 5 – 8 ) school students in the Hamilton Southeastern district are invited to enter the 2010 Fishers Freedom Festival T-shirt design contest. Winners will get a free T-shirt bearing their design, a trophy and be featured in the Festival Guide and the main parade. The school with the most entries will receive $500 for their schools art department. In the event that there is a tie the prize money will be split equally. Prize money is sponsored by the Fishers Arts Council and the Fishers Freedom Festival.
- T-Shirts will be white
- The theme for the 2010 Festival is “Where Family and Fun Unite”
- The entry must depict “2010 FISHERS FREEDOM FESTIVAL” and the theme. These details must be legible and spelled correctly on the design.
- Artists are allowed to use only four colors in their drawings.
- No computer drawings are allowed.
- Drawings must be on paper which is 8.5″ x 11″.
- Only 1 entry per student.
- Entrants must be a resident in the Hamilton Southeastern School District.
- Previous T-shirt contest winners are ineligible.
- Students MUST put the following on the back of their drawing to be eligible to win:
- First and Last name
- Age
- Telephone number
- School and Grade
- If applicable, the art teacher’s name
The classroom packet of drawings should be submitted no later than March 15th and sent to the Hamilton Southeastern Administration Office (13485 Cumberland Road in Fishers) or delivered to the Fishers Freedom Festival office, 8601 E. 116th Street (directly behind Fritz in Fishers car dealership) or mailed to P.O. Box 930, Fishers, IN 46038.
The final T-Shirt will be available for purchase in the Fishers Freedom Festival Office for $10 each (8601 East 116th Street), at the Fishers Freedom Festival and off the Festival’s web site (www.fishersfreedomfestival.org). Proceeds benefit future Fishers Freedom Festivals.
